“My primary assignments are to assist the Administrative Officer in all financial, accounting, administrative issues, and volunteer support; I operate the Peace Corps Romania accounting system and communicate with PC/Washington financial office; I support other PC Romania departments; To make payments to various vendors by checks and Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT’s); To monitor PCV projects (SPA, PCPP). I have been working for PC Romania since 1994 beginning as a Security Guard and then in 1997 was promoted to my current position.”

“My job is primarily concerned with the financial support of volunteers, payments of living allowance, leave allowance, tutoring, rents and other payments (medication, medical services, stolen money and properties, etc.). I have been with Peace Corps since May 1999.”

“I graduated the Accounting Faculty and I’ve got a Master’s degree in International Audit Practices. I started working for Peace Corps in 2003. I work under the Administrative Officer’s supervision in financial, accounting, administrative and human resources matters: operating the accounting system, evidence/tracking for various payments/reimbursements, completion/delivery of various Government of Romania reports, etc.”

“I started working for Peace Corps in 2008 as a part-time Receptionist. My main activity is to take all incoming calls and provide support to the Volunteers and Staff. I graduated from the Faculty of Letters, University of Bucharest. I love interacting with people, reading, traveling, animals, etc. I love challenges and learning new things.”

“My job is to assist the Director for Global Operations with procurement, vendor contacts, lease negotiations, bidding processes, customs issues, visa issues, making the drivers schedule for country travel and for duty drivers, support during emergency situations, repair and maintenance operation of assigned PC vehicles, checks of US Embassy mail, making recommendations on GS issues, supporting PC staff on site visits and events, PST, conferences and driving. I have been with Peace Corps Romania since June 1992.”

I started to work for Peace Corps in October 1998. I have a degree in Automotive Engineering and Transportation. I am acting as a team leader for the Drivers/Logisticians, assisting and coordinating performance of all GS duties. I also work productively and cooperatively with all members of the GS Unit to accomplish unit tasks. Under the guidance of the GSM, I also organize performance of other tasks by Drivers/Logisticians.

I am also responsible for maintaining and keeping the vehicles clean and in good condition, transport supplies, equipment, materials, mail, and other communication, to protect and guard PC cashier while transporting cash, to conduct market basket surveys, and to support PC staff during site visits and events, PST, conferences, etc. I started to work for Peace Corps in November 2003.”
